AAA predicts that COVID-19 will cause a reduction in Thanksgiving holiday travel in New England by 9.4% in 2020 vs. 2019.

Air (down 47%), bus, rail and cruise travel are expected to be most deeply affected. Drive travel - although down 2.9% in absolute numbers - is projected to account for 92% of Thanksgiving trips, up from 89% in 2019.
