Destination Canada launches Open Hearts video campaign targeting Americans

Following the reopening on Monday of Canada's land border with the US to fully vaccinated Americans, national tourist board Destination Canada has launched on YouTube an Open Hearts video campaign.

Per Destination Canada, historically the US has accounted for 68% of international overnight visits to the country and 49% of overnight tourism spend, and is expected to provide over 54% of total international tourism spend between 2021 and 2025.

A new, dedicated US Travel Offers Page on the Destination Canada website showcases 80 travel packages designed to appeal to Americans.
