Launch is timed to get visitors for Thanksgiving Day parade

Official NYC DMO NYC & Company has launched the second wave of its multi-million-dollar "It's Time for New York City" destination marketing campaign - the agency's largest global campaign ever.

Officials say the first wave of the campaign launched in June 2021 resulted in more than 2M trips to NYC being booked, and more than $5B in visitor spend.

In Phase 2, NYC & Company is partnering with United Airlines to target markets including Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, Denver, Tampa, San Diego and Cincinnati with advertising on digital and social channels, to run until the first week in December.

Internationally, the campaign is running in Singapore, New Zealand and Canada, also partnering with airlines.

Other campaign partners include Amtrak (Northeast Corridor), Aeromexico (Mexico), Havas (France) and Alpitour (Italy).
