On 14 January 2020 SAS Scandinavian Airlines began 6/week service between Los Angeles and Copenhagen using A340-300 aircraft, with new A350-900s being phased in as delivered. This comes as Norwegian is in the process of phasing out its transatlantic operations from Copenhagen, scheduled to complete by summer 2020.

And on 11 January Southwest began weekly Saturday service between Tampa International and Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky using Boeing 737 aircraft. Delta flies this route daily, Frontier 4/week.
