Expanded air services to San Juan expected to add $124m to PR economy in 2020

Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport

Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport has announced new nonstop services by 5 major airlines for 2020:

  • Iberia will fly Madrid to San Juan daily beginning in July (currently 3/week).
  • Frontier will add flights from Baltimore/DC, Boston, Chicago and Santo Domingo, Dominica with introductory $59 one-way fares Tues-Thurs.
  • Spirit will fly to San Juan from Boston, Newark, Baltimore/DC, Philadelphia and Orlando.
  • American will operate a second daily flight from Dallas/Fort Wirth.
  • Delta is adding daily flights from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport between 21 December 2019 and 7 April 2020.

To date in 2019, more than 8.5M passengers have passed through Luis Muñoz Marín International.
