In September, Brand USA participated in the China-US Tourism Leadership Summit in Hangzhou, China, and led a trade mission to India in which Assistant Deputy Secretary of Commerce for Travel and Tourism Phil Lovas participated. The US delegation met with reps of Indian tour operators, airlines, travel agencies, meeting planners and media in Mumbai, New Delhi and Bengaluru.
