Robert DeSalvio, president of Wynn Boston Harbor, has told the Massachusetts Gaming Commission that the Everett casino will open in June 2019.

Wynn expects to put 250 people to work on construction by the end of 2016.

Somerville Mayor Joseph Curtatone is considering filing a Superior Court appeal of the decision to grant environmental permits for the project.
