Destination Moosehead Lake has received a Tourism Enterprise Grant of $8575 from MOT, and another $7575 grant from timberland owners Weyerhaeuser Company.

Proceeds will be used to hire photographers and videographers to produce regional tourism marketing collateral.

The new organization plans to support itself via co-op advertising fees vice membership dues.

Will be interesting to see how that works out.
