The European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) issued an alert yesterday 11 April 2018 advising airlines to exercise caution this week in the Eastern Mediterranean/Nicosia Flight Information Region because of the possibility of missile attacks on Syria.

US President Donald Trump tweeted yesterday that "missiles will be coming" at Syrian military targets in response to a chemical attack by President Bashar al-Assad's forces that killed more than 40 civilians near Damascus on the weekend.
