On 20 March Gurugram-based Indian carrier IndiGo began its first service to Europe with twice-daily flights from Delhi (DEL) to Istanbul Ataturk (IST) using A321neos.

And on 25 March Glasgow-based regional airline Loganair launched services from Newcastle (NCL) to Brussels (BRU) (10/week) and Atavanger (SVG) (6/week) using ERJ 135s; also daily service between Glasgow (GLA) and Dusseldorf (DUS) using ERJ 145s.
