Top beneficiaries were:

  • Mexico +9%, with 39% share
  • Canada +10%
  • Overseas countries +7%

Top 3 overseas counties:

  • UK (on sale because of weak GBP since the Brexit vote of June 2016) +11%
  • Dominican Republic
  • Italy +9%

The lust of Americans for international travel has continued through 2017 and shows no sign of letting up in 2018. (See the Related Article about October 2017 consumer confidence). 2018 should be another banner year for any international destination not badly impacted by terror attacks or natural disasters.
