The Bregagh Road in Co. Antrim is featured as the locale of the Dark Hedges in the TV drama Game of Thrones.

The NI Department of Infrastructure (like DOT), concerned that heavy traffic of tourist vehicles could damage the roots of the 200+-year-old trees, will be closing the road to most users in late October 2017

It's a tourism paradox that attracting more visitors can destroy what they came to see so they stop coming.
