Ms. Deean has previously been with architect-planners Utile, Boston Planning & Development Agency, MassDevelopment and the City of Long Beach, CA.

In her new position Ms. Deean will lead Boston Harbor Now's development of a comprehensive plan for Boston Harbor.

The Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park is an important tourist attraction. (And rightly so.)
