Like Scotland (see Scotland tourism having a bumper year in 2017), Wales has many of the charms of Ireland but sells at a discount this year to travelers from the Eurozone and North America.

Growth in searches from these markets in July and August have been:

  • USA +145%
  • Canada +160%
  • Ireland +100% (Cheaper than a domestic holiday!)

Trends in travel intentions also suggest that visitors will stay longer and spend more in 2017.
