Delta to restart daily JFK-Shannon service in May 2024

Delta Airlines announced this week their decision to restart daily JFK-Shannon service on 25 May 2024, adding 2700 weekly seats. Delta last operated this service in 2019 before pausing it on account of the COVID pandemic.

Shannon was the first Irish airport to be served by Delta, beginning in 1986.

Delta will also be restarting direct services between Shannon and Boston, Chicago and Newark in 2024.

Overnight JFK-Shannon flights will depart JFK at 2255 and arrive at Shannon at 1010. Shannon-JFK flights will depart Shannon at 1155 and arrive at JFK at 1425.

Right now Delta.com is quoting me round-trip fares in the last week of May 2024 that range from "Basic" $708 to "Premium Select" $2554.
