For 13 days around 8-20 May 2018, Sail Newport and the State of RI will host the 7 teams competing in the 45,000-mile race.

The 2015 stopover in Newport drew nearly 150,000 visitors to the festivities, with a spend of $47.7M.

Notice that RI is creating a Sailing Events Commission. (See Related Articles.)
