CEO Ioanna Dretta says the organization's goals for 2018 include improving qualitative tourism demand, increasing average visitor spend, reducing seasonality, increasing the number of last-minute bookings and positioning Athens and Thessaloniki as year-round city break destinations.

Reducing seasonality - spreading tourist visitation out more evenly across the year - is an important goal, as a shortage of hotel rooms in high season has been predicted for 2018.
