Formula 1 expects fans to return to the grandstands for the 2021 season.

However: as of today 12 January 2021 the US CDC rates the level of COVID-19 in Bahrain VERY HIGH and advises "Travelers should avoid all travel to Bahrain."

Will Formula 1 be able to pull off this ambitious 23-race schedule? Will spectators be allowed?

Stay tuned for updates.
